Confirmed GTA6 Platforms

Rockstar's official GTA6 page confirms launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. These are the only platforms confirmed for the November 19, 2026 release. Every other platform remains officially unconfirmed.

What About PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch 2?

  • PC / Steam / Epic: Not listed on Rockstar's official page at launch. A PC release is widely expected later, based on Rockstar's history, but no date is confirmed.
  • PS4 and Xbox One: Not listed. GTA6 is built for current-gen hardware.
  • Switch 2: Not confirmed. No Nintendo platform is currently official.

This current-gen-only launch matches Rockstar's approach of prioritizing PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with PC and other platforms typically following at a later date.

Why Platform Confirmation Matters

For pre-orders and edition choices, the platform decision is locked to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for launch day. Players waiting for PC should hold off, since neither a release date nor pre-order is available for that platform yet. Always verify through Rockstar's official site.
